Parents, please encourage your student to complete recommended IXL lessons

Monday: No School

             PD for teachers

                            

Tuesday:     Minute math #37, record on Assistments.org                 

                  Chapter 5 pgs 160 – 164

                  Discuss and practice writing ratios (work together in class)

Wednesday:    Minute math #38

                      IXL – recommended lessons  Chapter5 

                       Chapter 5 lesson 5.2, equivalent ratios, pgs 165-175

                      More discussion and practice. 

                      Start worksheet 5.1/5.2 if we have time – writing answers on notebook paper.

                      

                          

Thursday:   IXL – 10 to 15 minutes working on lessons in chapter 5.  

                Students will apply what they have learned about ratios to complete the worksheet.

                 Flocabulary lesson “Ratios” – complete the vocabulary game, read and respond, and quiz.

               

Friday:   Minute math #39 – record on assistments.org

            Chap. 5 – lesson 5.3 Rates pgs 176-181

             worksheet 5.3/pg 94

             

                    

    

Reading For Pleasure

Monday:   No school – staff development

Tuesday:   Read aloud to class –  Payback Time

                Finish painting rocks.

                Discuss The Cay – setting, look up summary on computer, find interesting tidbits about the book.

           

 Wednesday: Read aloud to class – Payback Time

                 Wrestling – watch dual

Thursday: Read aloud to class –  Payback Time         

               The Cay – read from book together – students led reading

Friday:  Read aloud to class – Payback Time

          The Cay – read from book together – students led reading

            Reading time on own.
